POSITION BASED IN Keynsham

Keynsham area - no public transport available.

The overall purpose of this position is to ensure all company vehicles are prepared for operational service having been fuelled, washed and then parked in accordance with the depot parking plan. In addition, the post holder will assist engineering and operational colleagues with vehicle movements and general depot activities to support the depot operations. 

MAIN DUTIES:

1)    To ensure all vehicles are parked as per the company parking plan with all vehicles left in a safe and secure position.

2)    To liaise with the Duty Controller at start of shift to discuss shift priorities.

3)    To ensure all vehicles are cleaned and presented to a high standard in order to be allocated for service.

4)    To complete the daily cleaning log and report any concerns to the Duty Controller.

5)    To assist all colleagues in the safe movement of vehicles within the depot site with particular emphasis on reversing of vehicles.

6)    To assist engineering colleagues as and when required in engineering activities.

7)    To adhere to the site safety regulations and to have due regard for your safety, that of your colleagues and any visitors to the depot. Any areas of concern are to be reported to the Duty Controller.

8)    To ensure PPE is worn at all times.

9)    To ensure the correct and safe use of all equipment and tools in your work activities.

10)  To keep the depot site and areas of work clean and tidy.

11)  To have an eye for detail and high standards of workmanship.

 EVENING DUTIES: 

·         To undertake fuelling and parking of vehicles in a safe manner.

·         To complete exterior bus cleaning as instructed.

·         To wash/mop all floors of the open top fleet when they return from service.

·         To wash/mop all floors and empty bins/clear rubbish for the AirDecker fleet to be used the following day (if available)
